The selling price of one gram of 21-carat gold in the local market Friday is JD 37.9, in comparison to it’s purchase price at JD 36.40, announced the General Association for Owners of Jewelry Shops.

According to the Managing Board Secretary of the General Association for Owners of Jewelry Shops, Ribhi Allan, 24-carat and 18-carat gold selling prices are now JD 45.40 and JD 33.70.

The price of the Rashadi lira weighing seven grams amounts to JD 266, while the price of the English lira weighing eight grams is JD 303.

He added that the price of gold on the world market Friday is $ 1865 per ounce.

There are approximately 850 gold merchants and gold makers throughout the Kingdom.
