Citizens who think they have been harmed by defense orders have the right to take the matter to court, said the Minister of State Mahmoud Al-Kharabsheh Thursday.

Kharabsheh explained that defense laws in Jordan "are not immune" to litigation and citizens can file appeals in court.

He told Roya that defense laws are exceptional laws which are utilized as a last resort when necessary and should end once these reasons cease to exist.
