Jordan confirms over 31,000 COVID-19 cases in less than one week

The Kingdom confirmed 31,840 coronavirus cases and 422 deaths between November 12 and November 18, according to the Ministry of Health Thursday.

Jordan recorded the highest daily number of COVID-19 cases Wednesday, as it confirmed 7,933 cases and 60 deaths, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 163,926. The death toll since the beginning of the crisis amounts to 1,969.

The number of active cases in the country reached of 67,061, while 94,896 people have recovered from the virus. 

Jordan ranked 39th globally and fourth in the Arab World in terms of COVID-19 cases and deaths.
