A Bahrain government delegation led by its Foreign Minister Abdullatif Al Zayani landed in Tel Aviv Wednesday morning, following the normalization agreement signed between Bahrain and the Israeli occupier in September.

During their first visit to the Israeli Occupation, Al Zayani requested to open an embassy for Bahrain in Tel Aviv, as he approved to open an embassy for the occupation in Manama.

Al Zayani said in a press conference that the Israeli Minister of Foreign Affairs Gabi Ashkenazi "accepted the invitation to visit Bahrain," noting that the visit will take place early next month.

For his part, Ashkenazi stressed that Tel Aviv "will continue to strengthen economic relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain."
