Jordan Tuesday surpassed the United Arab Emirates in number of coronavirus cases. The COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom reached 155,993, while the UAE has a total of 152,809 cases. 

The countries have similar population sizes.

In terms of COVID-19 cases and deaths, Jordan ranked 41 globally and fourth in the Arab world, according to Worldometers.
