11 deaths and 1,158 new COVID-19 cases in Palestine

Palestine has recorded 11 deaths and 1,158 new COVID-19 cases, announced the Palestinian Minister of Health Mai al-Kileh Tuesday.

The deaths reported included six in the West Bank; two in Gaza strip and three in Jerusalem.

The recovery rate stands at 87.1 percent, while the active cases rate is 12.1 percent and the death rate is 0.8 percent.

The new coronavirus cases included 93 in Hebron; 155 in Nablus; 98 in Bethlehem; 12 in Qalqilya; 76 in Ramallah and Al-Bireh; 48 in Jenin; seven in Jericho and Al-Aghwar; 11 in Salfit; 34 in Tulkarem; 12 in Tubas; 486 in Gaza Strip; 90 in Jerusalem and 12 in the suburbs of Jerusalem.

The recovery cases include 56 in Hebron; 19 in Jenin; 138 in Nablus; six in Tulkarem; five in Qalqilya; seven in Salfit; 155 in Bethlehem; 40 in Ramallah and al-Bireh; 43 in Jerusalem; and 305 in Gaza Strip.

Currently, 44 people are in the Intensive Care Unit and nine are on ventilators.

Tuesday, 5,389 PCR tests were conducted.
