Tuesday, The Minister of State for Media Affairs Ali Al-Ayed, said that Defense Order No. 23 is a precautionary measure aimed at preserving the health of Jordanians.

Defense Order No. 23, issued Monday by the prime minister, allows the Minister of Health to set prices for COVID-19 treatments in private hospitals to prevent the exploitation of citizens.

He pointed out that the issuance of Defense Order No. 23 reaffirms the serious manner in which the government is dealing with the coronavirus crisis.

Al-Ayed stressed the importance of adhering to measures to prevent the further transmission of the coronavirus, given the importance of reducing daily cases for the nation’s livelihood.
