The Anti-Narcotics Department Tuesday arrested three individuals in Irbid for their participation in narcotic distribution and possession.

Security forces seized the narcotics and firearms from the individuals. 

The media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said that the the Anti-Narcotics Department in the Irbid Governorate has arrested an individual who had eight prior complaints and warrants for his arrest, including firearm usage charges, drug charges and weapon possession.

Some of the narcotics found in his possession included marijuana and methamphetamines.

In addition, two other individuals were arrested in the Irbid Governorate. They were running operations from a tent in an empty area where they stored and sell narcotic substances. The individuals were arrested after being searched finding four kilograms of narcotics in their possession.

Investigations have begun with all those arrested in preparation for their referral to a public prosecutor.
