Seven deaths, 836 new coronavirus cases in Palestine

Palestine has recorded seven deaths and 836 new COVID-19 cases, announced the Palestinian Minister of Health Mai al-Kileh Monday.

The deaths reported included seven in the West Bank. The recovery rate stands at 87.3 percent, while the active cases rate is 11.8 percent and the death rate is 0.9 percent.

The new coronavirus cases included 43 in Hebron; 115 in Nablus; 60 in Bethlehem; 13 in Qalqilya; 42 in Ramallah and Al-Bireh; 22 in Jenin; eight in Jericho and Al-Aghwar; 24 in Salfit; 34 in Tulkarem; 10 in Tubas; 435 in Gaza Strip; and 12 in the suburbs of Jerusalem.

The recovery cases include six in Hebron; 12 in Jenin; 27 in Nablus; 13 in Tulkarem; 18 in Qalqilya; six in Salfit; 81 in Bethlehem; eight in Tubas; 126 in Ramallah and al-Bireh; 78 in the suburbs of Jerusalem; and 310 in Gaza Strip.

Currently, 44 people are in the Intensive Care Unit and eight are on ventilators.
