Ministry of Health to hire 2,103 field hospital employees

The Ministry of Health plans on hiring 2,103 employees to work at a number of field hospitals across the Kingdom by the end of the month, announced the head of the Civil Service Bureau (CSB) Sameh Al-Nasser Sunday. A total of 3,804 candidates will be sitting for exams and those who pass will be interviewed for these positions.

The ministry needs doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, the positions for which will announced Monday in local newspapers, as well as on the CSB's official website www.csb.gov.jo and Facebook page. The advertisement will also include details about the selection and employment process.

The CSB will start conducting interviews while the exams are being held, to speed up the hiring process. The relevant staff at the Bureau continued to work during the post-elections lockdown to prepare for these exams and interviews.

A total of 413 vacancies have been filled during the coronavirus crisis. The process involves shortlisting the top three applicants who passed the exams to be interviewed for each position, said Nasser. The CSB took the necessary measures, in coordination with the University of Science and Technology and Mu'ta University, to hold these examinations while abiding by health and safety measures.
