Jordan's national economic losses has been estimated at JD 100 million for each day of total lockdown, the head of the Amman Chamber of Commerce (ACC) Khalil Hajj Tawfiq told Roya Saturday.

Hajj Tawfiq added the total lockdown had many negative effects on the economy, noting that 50 percent of sectors in Jordan, such as restaurants, increase their sales on weekends. 

The government imposed a four-day post-election total lockdown, which started Tuesday 11pm and ended Sunday 6am.
