The media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said 296 people were arrested for violating defense law orders between 6pm and 11pm Thursday.

The Assistant Director of General Security Operations Ayman al-Awaysheh told Roya that any citizen who has violated the total lockdown measures or has appeared in videos that were circulating on social media while firing bullets in celebration of the elections, will be arrested and legal actions will be taken against them.
