Security forces arrest 35 people, seize 431 vehicles for violating defense orders

The media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said the traffic department have stopped 431 vehicles for violating defense orders and total lockdown rules.

The drivers will be summoned and legal measures will be taken in accordance to defence order violation law.

Additionally, 35 people were arrested for violating defense law orders and the necessary measures have been taken against them.

The traffic department is currently monitoring surveillance videos and public footage to track down violating vehicles.

In addition, technical investigation teams were able to identify a number of people who appeared in some of the videos that were circulating while firing bullets in celebration of the elections.

Continuous searches are underway for their identification and arrest.
