The curfew hours in Jordan have been reduced to start at 11pm, following the decision to extend the voting period across the Kingdom until 9pm.

Additionally, the total lockdown will begin at 11pm Tuesday until 6am Sunday.

Candidates and delegates from the polling centers, in addition to heads, members and cadres of election committees in the field are excluded from the curfew hours.

In addition, local and international media professionals and journalists who are accredited to the IEC are exempt from curfew hours as well, until the IEC finishes announcing the final results.

No amendments have been made to the closing hours off establishments and the reduction of curfew hours at 11pm only extends to citizens.

The Public Security Directorate announced that warning sirens would sound 10pm, marking the start of the total lockdown at 11pm, urging everyone to adhere to and abide by the curfew law.
