PM Bisher Khasawneh votes in Jordan's 19th parliamentary election

Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh has voted in Jordan's 19th parliamentary elections Tuesday.

Khasawneh has submitted his ballot in Hafsa Bint Amro Elementary School in Irbid.

Voting for Jordan's 19th parliamentary elections started at 7 am Tuesday. Polling stations will remain open for citizens to vote until 7pm, followed by two hours during which quarantined citizens are allowed to enter stations to vote.

The elections have started as scheduled despite the coronavirus crisis. Jordan has recorded a total of 114,986 COVID-19 cases and 1,295 deaths since the beginning of the crisis in March.
