Jordan confirms 62 deaths and 5,665 new COVID-19 cases

Jordan has recorded 62 deaths and 5,665 new coronavirus cases Monday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 114,986.

The number of COVID-19 deaths in Jordan now totals 1,295. 

The cases are:

- 3,147 in Amman

- 581 in Irbid, including 144 in Ramtha

- 231 in Jerash

- 172 in Ma'an, including 42 in Petra

- 89 in Tafilah

- 66 in Madaba

- 631 in Zarqa

- 279 in Karak

- 186 in Aqaba

- 170 in Balqa

- 79 in Mafraq

- 34 in Ajlun

A total of 271 cases have been admitted to designated hopsitals and 225 recovery cases have been discharged.

Additionally, a total of 1,999 COVID-19 patients are currently receiving treatment at Jordanian hospitals, 411 of which are in the Intensive Care Units.

A total of 27,689 PCR tests have been conducted Sunday, bringing the total number of tests conducted since the beginning of the crisis to 2,068,376.

The precentage of positive cases in Jordan Monday is 20.5 percent.
