One death, 431 new coronavirus cases in Palestine

Palestine has recorded one death and 431 new COVID-19 cases over the past 24 hours, announced the Palestinian Minister of Health Mai al-Kileh Saturday.

The death reported involved a 70-year-old in Burqin, Jenin Governorate.

The recovery rate stands at 88.3 percent, while the active cases rate is 10.9 percent and the death rate is 0.8 percent.

The new coronavirus cases included six in Hebron; 62 in Nablus; 44 in Bethlehem; six in Qalqilya; 13 in Ramallah and Al-Bireh; 20 in Jenin; three in Jericho and Al-Aghwar; 10 in Salfit; nine in Tulkarem; five in Tubas; 250 in Gaza Strip and three in the suburbs of Jerusalem.

A total of 235 recovery cases have been recorded involving 51 in Hebron; 28 in Jenin; 19 in Nablus; 18 in Tulkarem; 93 in Jerusalem suburbs; 22 in Salfit; four in Tubas and 203 in Gaza Strip

Currently, 34 people are in the Intensive Care Unit and seven are on ventilators.
