Former Vice President and Democratic candidate Joe Biden inched closer to the White House after taking the lead in Pennsylvania Friday evening. As a key swing state, winning Pennsylvania would give Biden enough votes to get to the coveted 270 Electoral votes needed to gain the presidency.

An earlier lead in Georgia also opened up another path to the White House, which the campaign previously had not considered, given that Georgia has not voted blue since 1992.

Arizona and Nevada remain important pathways for either candidate. 

President Trump continued Friday to insist he had already won the presidency and that the mass amount of absentee ballots being tallied in light of the pandemic are "fraud." 

Final results of the presidential election are not expected until well into the night at the earliest.
