The weekly Friday total lockdown will commence at 10pm Thursday and will last until 10pm Friday after which normal curfew hours will begin.

Individuals will be allowed to leave their housing after curfew hours end at 6am Saturday.

Those with authorized permits will only be allowed to go out once the total lockdown has lifted.

Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh announced previously that the total lockdown will be imposed Fridays in Jordan until the end of the year.

The Head of the Coronavirus Portfolio at the Ministry of Health, Wael Hayajneh, confirmed that the total lockdown will be enforced when there is a sudden increase in COVID-19 cases and when the healthcare system is on the verge of collapse.
