The Ministry of Youth in cooperation with The Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship held the third National Forum for Young Entrepreneurs and Innovators February, which aims to encourage and support businesses and unique projects for the youth in hopes to reduce unemployment in Jordan.

Unemployment is the biggest challenge faced by young Jordanians, especially educated women.

On Twitter, the Ministry of Youth posted Wednesday that the Face Mask Detection project is one of the projects from the National Forum which has qualified to enter phase two under the slogan “Health in the shadow of epidemics”.

The Face Mask Detection project aims mainly to program cameras in public places, airports, hospitals and malls to identify people who are disobeying health measures and not wearing a mask. The project aims to send an audio warning to the individuals if they are found.
