The Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) announced Tuesday, in cooperation with the Traffic Department, that there will be a temporary detour of traffic movement coming from The Airport Road towards the Eighth Interchange, starting Wednesday evening for 20 days for maintenance purposes.

The Director of the Traffic Operations Department, Mohammad Al-Faouri, stated that traffic will be directed towards Abdullah Ghosheh Street (opposite to the direction of incoming traffic), where drivers will have to turn left on Abdul Rahman Khalifa Street (which will be turned into a one-way street), then returning to Zahran Street towards the Eighth Interchange.

GAM and the Traffic Department will also provide traffic safety with the presence of the traffic cadres and officers at the maintenance site.
