The Director of Jerash Governmental Hospital, Sadiq Al-Atoum, has said the occupancy rate for coronavirus patients has reached maximum capacity Tuesday.

This is due to the high number of cases in Jerash and other patients coming from outside the governorate.

Al-Atoum added that the COVID-19 section contains 20 beds, including 10 ICU beds for patients who need ventilators and the other 10 for moderate cases.

He indicated that there are three patients whose health condition are critical while the rest of the cases are moderate.

Al-Atoum appealed to the people of Jerash Governorate to adhere to the health measures and to avoid visiting the hospital or health centers in the governorate except for emergencies, in order to allow the medical staff to treat COVID-19 patients and to protect citizens from this crisis.
