The number of coronavirus cases has reached 46,525,184 around the world and the death toll has passed 1,202,368 people, according to Worldometers Sunday.

A total of 33,577,273 people have recovered from the virus.

The US has topped the list of countries worst affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, recording 236,101 deaths, 9,405,247 total cases and 6,062,877 recoveries.

India is the second-worst place with 122,424 deaths, 8,196,332 total cases and 7,500,694 recoveries, while Brazil has ranked third with 159,902 deaths, 5,535,605 cases and 4,972,898 recoveries.

Russia ranks fourth with 28,235 deaths, 1,636,781 infections and 28,235 recoveries.
