Jordan records 57 deaths and 3,301 new COVID-19 cases

A total of 57 deaths and 3,301 new coronavirus cases, all of which are local cases, have been recorded in Jordan Saturday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 72,607.

The cases are as follows:

  • 1,534 in Amman.
  • 369 in Irbid, including 110 in Ramtha.
  • 132 in Balqa.
  • 109 in Ma'an, including two in Petra.
  • 83 in Ajloun.
  • 63 in Aqaba.
  • 498 in Zarqa.
  • 151 in Jerash.
  • 128 in Karak.
  • 99 in Marfraq.
  • 82 in Madaba.
  • 53 in Tafilah.

The death toll since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis has reached 829.

A total of 103 recovery cases have been discharged from hospitals and 180 cases have been hospitalized, bringing the total number of cases currently receiving treatment at Jordanian hospitals to 1,542.

A total of 22,513 PCR tests have been conducted Saturday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 1,860,367.
