The Fuel Pricing Committee at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources announced Saturday a slight decrease in the prices of 90 and 95 octane gasoline by five Fils, while the diesel and kerosene prices were stabilized in October.

The Fuel Pricing Committee held a meeting Saturday, headed by the Chairman of the Committee and Secretary-General of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Amani Al-Azzam, to determine the prices for selling oil derivatives locally for the period of November and to review international prices for crude oil and oil derivatives for the month of October in comparison to September.

International prices were reflected on the prices of domestic oil derivatives during the same period in varying proportions.

The selling price of 90 octane gasoline in November decreased by five Fils to 665 Fils per liter instead of 670 Fils per liter.

The price of 95 octane gasoline decreased by five Fils to become 880 Fils per Liter instead of 885 Fils per liter.

The price of diesel and kerosene stabilized in October at prices of 460 Fils per liter.

The average price of Brent crude has decreased from USD 40.8 per barrel in September to USD 40.2 per barrel in October.

In addition and as per usual, the committee decided to fix the price of a gas cylinder at JOD seven.
