Jordanian Royal Medical Services to stop receiving patients in specialist clinics

The Jordanian Royal Medical Services (JRMS) have decided to stop receiving patients in specialized clinics in all JRMS Hospitals Sunday until further notice.

The decision follows an increase in the number of COVID-19 cases and in order to preserve the safety of the hospital-goers and health personnel.

They added that JRMS hospital emergency wards will continue to receive other emergency cases around the clock.

JRMS indicated that monthly treatments will continue to be dispensed from specialty pharmacies as usual for a period of two months.

In addition, they announced that Queen Alia Military Hospital will be allocated to receive suspected and confirmed cases of COVID-19 for beneficiaries of military health insurance.

This decision was taken in order to enable hospitals in Al-Hussein Medical City to continue providing medical service for patients other than those infected with COVID-19.

The King Hussein Medical City Emergency Wards Sunday, will stop receiving suspected or confirmed cases of COVID-19 and will continue to receive other cases as usual.

Furthermore, The Queen Alia Military Hospital Emergency Wards will receive suspected or confirmed cases of COVID-19 and will stop receiving other sick cases.
