French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian announced that instructions will be issued to all French ambassadors abroad to tighten security measures in their embassies and to all French citizens abroad.

The French Minister of Interior, Gerald Darmanin Friday said 120 additional policemen will be sent to the French city of Nice, where a knife attack took place Thursday, killing three.

The two ministers' speeches came after President Emmanuel Macron chaired a meeting for defense teams.

Darmanin had expected that France would witness more terror attacks in coming periods.
