Jordan records 32 deaths and 3,921 new COVID-19 cases

A total of 32 deaths and 3,921 new coronavirus cases have been recorded in Jordan Friday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 69,306.

The cases are: 

  • 2,332 in Amman
  • 280 in Zarqa
  • 418 in Irbid, 124 of which in Ramtha
  • 166 in Tafilah
  • 132 in Balqa
  • 118 in Ma'an, 41 in Petra
  • 101 in Ajloun
  • 89 in Aqaba
  • 73 in Karak
  • 84 in Madaba
  • 69 in Mafraq
  • 59 in Jerash

The death toll since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis has reached 772.

A total of 92 recovery cases have been discharged from hospitals and 224 cases have been hospitalized, bringing the total number of cases currently receiving treatment at Jordanian hospitals to 1,346.

A total of 28,958 PCR tests have been conducted on Friday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 1,837,854
