Jordan should resort to a one-day lockdown after the Parliamentary Elections, as there will be large gatherings, especially among the winning candidates, said a former Member of Parliament and the head of the Health Committee at the National Center for Human Rights, Ibrahim al-Bdour Thursday.

Al-Bdour said this decision should be implemented to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Jordan's 19th Parliamentary elections for the House of Representatives will be held Tuesday, November 10.
