Jordan records 32 COVID-19 deaths and  3,087 new cases

A total of 32 deaths and 3,087 new coronavirus cases have been recorded in Jordan Wednesday, all of which are local cases, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 61,942.

The cases are: 

  • 1,329 in Amman
  • 252 in Balqa
  • 100 in Karak
  • 83 in Madaba
  • 30 in Aqaba
  • 26 in Tafilah
  • 849 in Zarqa
  • 226 in Irbid, including one in Ramtha
  • 92 in Mafraq
  • 62 in Ajlun
  • 28 in Maan
  • 10 in Jerash

The number of COVID-19 deaths in Jordan now totals 700.

A total of 158 COVID-19 patients have been admitted to designated hospitals Wednesday, bringing the total number of patients in hospitals to 1,266.

A total of 24,497 PCR tests have been condcuted Wednesday, bringing the total number of tests conducted since the beginning of the crisis to 1,783,338.
