Six deaths, 542 new COVID-19 cases in Palestine

Palestine has recorded six deaths and 542 new COVID-19 cases over the past 24 hours, announced the Palestinian Minister of Health Mai al-Kileh Monday.

The recovery rate stands at 88.4 percent, while the active cases rate is 10.8 percent and the death rate is 0.8 percent.

The new coronavirus cases included 50 in Hebron; 95 in Nablus; 54 in Bethlehem; six in Qalqilya; 48 in Ramallah and Al-Bireh; 33 in Jenin; 13 in Jericho and Al-Aghwar; 14 in Salfit; 25 in Tulkarem; four in Tubas; 152 in Gaza Strip;16 in the suburbs of Jerusalem and 32 in Jerusalem City.

Currently, 40 people are in the Intensive Care Unit and six are on ventilators.
