Jordan records 39 deaths and 2,337 new COVID-19 cases
Jordan records 39 deaths and 2,337 new COVID-19 cases

A total of 39 deaths and 2,337 new coronavirus cases have been recorded in Jordan on Sunday, all of which are local cases, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 53,087.

The cases are: 

  • 1,733 in Amman
  • 386 in Irbid, 131 of which in Ramtha
  • 83 in Aqaba
  • 31 in Balqa
  • 21 in Karak
  • 12 in Jerash
  • 32 in Tafilah
  • One in Mafraq
  • 21 in Ma'an, one of which in Petra
  • 15 in Ajloun
  • Two in Madaba
  • Zero cases in Zarqa

The death toll since the beginning of the crisis has reached 579.

A total of 14,861 PCR tests have been conducted on Sunday, bringing the total number of PCR tests since March to 1,710,076.
