Jordan has recorded 32 deaths and 1,820 new coronavirus cases Saturday, 1,818 of which are local cases, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 50,750.

The number of COVID-19 deaths in Jordan now totals 540.

The cases are: 

  • 1,050 in Amman
  • 205 in Irbid, including 89 in Ramtha
  • 63 in Aqaba
  • 40 in Jerash 
  • 31 in Karak
  • 21 in Ajlun
  • 235 in Zarqa
  • 66 in Maan, including nine in Petra
  • 45 in Balqa
  • 36 in Mafraq
  • 26 in Madaba
  • No new cases in Tafilah
  • Two Jordanian truck drivers who entered the country via al-Omari Border Crossing.

A total of 11,979 PCR tests have been conducted Saturday, bringing the total number of tests since the beggining of the crisis to 1,695,215.

A total of 59 recovery cases were confirmed today.
