Government announces updated list of green, yellow and red countries

The government announced an updated list of red, yellow and green countries Thursday, a classification that is based on the COVID-19 situation in each country.

People arriving from red countries must:

  • Complete a form to obtain the QR code, through visiting https://www.visitjordan.gov.jo/
  • Self-isolate at home for 14 days
  • Have a negative PCR test within 120 hours before departure
  • Take a PCR test upon arrival
  • Download AMAN app
  • Submit Passenger Health Declaration and Locator Form
  • Non-Jordanians must have a valid insurance
  • Any passenger who gives false information will be subjected to a fine of JD 10,000.

As for the green and yellow countries, passengers must:

  • Complete a form to obtain the QR code, through visiting https://www.visitjordan.gov.jo/

  • Have a negative PCR test within 120 hours before departure
  • Take a PCR test upon arrival
  • Download AMAN app
  • Submit Passenger Health Declaration and Locator Form

  • Any passenger who gives false information will be subjected to a fine of JD 10,000.

Red countries:

Armenia, Aruba, Spain, Ecuador, Albania, Andorra, Ukraine, Ireland, Israeli Occupation, Argentina, the Bahamas, Bahrain, Brazil, Portugal, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, the Czech Republic, the Dominican Republic, Iraq, Kuwait, the Maldives, Hungary, Morocco, UK, USA, Paraguay, Belgium, Panama, Bologna, Bolivia, Peru, Belize, Trinidad and Tobago, Tunisia, South Africa, Russia, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Chile, Oman, Guyana, France, Palestine, Costa Rica, Colombia, Lebanon, Luxembourg, Libya, Martinique, Malta, Macedonia, Moldova, Honduras, and the Netherlands.

Yellow countries:

Iran, Iceland, Italy, Sudan, Sweden, Philippines, Mexico, Austria, Gibraltar, Jamaica, Georgia, Réunion, Syria, Suriname, Qatar, Kyrgyzstan, Croatia, Egypt, Montserrat, and Nepal.

Green countries:
