Jordan ranked 14 in COVID-19 cases and deaths in Arab world

Jordan ranked 14 among Arab countries and 74 among world countries in terms of coronavirus cases and deaths, according to Worldometer Thursday.

This came after the Kingdom recorded 2,648 new COVID-19 cases Wednesday.

Jordan came after Tunisia and before Afghanistan, with 43,620 cases recorded since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis, 35,954 of which are active cases.

A total of 7,223 recoveries and 443 deaths have been recorded since March.

The government reiterated the need to adhere to Defense Laws as well as health and safety measures, during the government's daily COVID-19 announcement on Wednesday.
