Six deaths, 569 new COVID-19 cases in Palestine

Palestine has recorded six deaths and 569 new COVID-19 cases over the past 24 hours, announced the Palestinian Minister of Health Mai al-Kileh Wednesday.

Six deaths were reported in the West Bank.

The recovery rate stands at 88 percent, while the active cases rate is 11.2 percent and the death rate is 0.8 percent.

The new coronavirus cases included 60 in Hebron; 79 in Nablus; 50 in Bethlehem; 30 in Jenin; 40 in Ramallah and al-Bireh; 19 in Qalqilya; eight in Salfit; two in Tubas; 12 in Jericho and al-Aghwar; 38 in Tulkarm; 134 in Gaza Strip; 27 in the suburbs of Jerusalem and 70 in Jerusalem.

The recovery cases involved 64 in Hebron; 65 in Jenin; six in Qalqilya; 77 in Nablus; 89 in Ramallah and al-Bireh; 77 in Jericho and al-Aghwar; 82 in Jerusalem and 93 in Gaza Strip.

Currently, 34 cases are in the Intensive Care Unit and five are on ventilators.
