The Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) in Lebanon confirmed that it is continuing to provide its services to Palestine refugees in its five fields of operation, according to the mandate granted to them by the General Assembly of the United Nations.

In a statement made on Monday, UNRWA denies allegations being circulated about a secret meeting which was held to discuss the issue of the agency’s extension and that there is an international desire to dismiss the UNRWA.

In addition, they also denied that the meeting was made in order to find an alternative that guaranteed Palestinian refugees a fair solution to their case and to set up a sequential program to start a practical termination to the UNRWA within eight months.

However, UNRWA added the information is completely false.
