35 deaths, 1,364 new COVID-19 cases in Jordan, 1,362 local cases

Jordan has recorded 35 deaths and 1,364 new coronavirus cases on Monday, 1,362 of which are local cases, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 38,937.

The number of COVID-19 deaths in Jordan now totals 380.

The cases are: 

  • 901 in Amman
  • 149 in Irbid, including 43 in Ramtha
  • 62 in Zarqa
  • 44 in Aqaba
  • 40 in Ajlun
  • 38 in Jerash
  • 31 in Karak
  • 18 in Tafilah
  • 12 in Maan
  • 11 in Madaba
  • Eight in Mafraq
  • One Jordanian truck driver who entered the country via al-Omari Border Crossing and one coming from abroad.

A total of 96 COVID-19 patients have been admitted to designated hospitals and 94 recovery cases have been recorded in Jordan on Monday.

A total of 24,575 PCR tests have been conducted, bringing the total number of COVID-19 tests to 1,593,077.
