Six deaths, 389 new COVID-19 cases in Palestine

Palestine has recorded six deaths and 397 new COVID-19 cases over the past 24 hours, announced the Palestinian Minister of Health, Mai al-Kileh, on Sunday.

The death involves a 58-year-old man in Jenin, an 81-year-old woman in Hebron, a 57-year-old man in Nablus, a 81-year-old woman and 59-year-old man in Bethlehem, and an 88-year-old woman in Gaza Strip.

The recovery rate stands at 87.5%, while the active cases rate is 11.7%, and the death rate is 0.8%.

The new coronavirus cases included: 47 in Hebron, 53 in Nablus, 16 in Bethlehem, 31 in Jenin, 29 in Ramallah and al-Bireh, 16 in Qalqilya, six in Tubas, seven in Salfit, 22 in Jericho and al-Aghwar, 36 in Tulkarem, 119 in Gaza Strip, and seven in the suburbs of Jerusalem.

A total of 336 recovery cases involved: 82 in Hebron, 31 in Jenin, 30 in Tulkarem, three in Tubas, 11 in Salfit, 40 in Qalqilya, 76 in Bethlehem and 63 in Gaza Strip.

Currently, 40 cases are in the Intensive Care Unit and six are on ventilators.

A total of 3,536 PCR test have been conducted.
