A total of 6,496 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in the Palestinian community around the world since the beginning of the pandemic, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Foriegn Affairs and Expatriates on Friday.

In addition, the death toll since the beginning of the crisis has reached 269 across the world.

The Ministry added that the working group concerned with the Palestinian community in the U.S. has recorded 11 new cases within the states of New York and Ohio, bringing it to a total of 3,908 cases. However, no deaths have been recorded, which settles the death count at 79 cases.
