The Ministry of Health provided Irbid Health Affairs Directorate with 20 caravans, fully equipped with all the equipment needed to treat patients suffering from COVID-19 symptoms.

Irbid Health Affairs Director, Riyad Al-Shiyab, said the caravans are air-conditioned and will probably start receiving people, who are suspected of having coronavirus, on Monday.

Patients will be treated by COVID-19 investigation teams, as well as other medical and technical staff members.

Those who test positive for coronavirus and require hospitalisation will be transferred to isolated departments in hospitals.

The caravans were given to Princess Basma Hospital, Yarmouk Hospital, Moath Bin Jabal Hospital, Abu Obaida Hospital and other comprehensive health centres in Irbid.
