Jordan has recorded 25 deaths and 2,459 new coronavirus cases on Thursday, 2,456 of which are local cases, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 33,009.

The number of COVID-19 deaths now totals 282.

The cases are:

• 1,071 in Amman
• 809 in Zarqa
• 135 in Irbid, including 39 in Ramtha
• 103 in Balqa
• 96 in Ajlun
• 84 in Karak
• 44 in Jerash
• 29 in Maan
• 25 in Aqaba
• 25 in Tafilah
• 22 in Mafraq
• 13 in Madaba
• Two people coming from abroad
• One Jordanian truck driver

A total of 99 recovery cases have been recorded in the Kingdom on Thursday.

A total of 27,648 PCR tests have been conducted, bringing the total number of PCR tests conducted since the beginning of the crisis to 1,517,884.
