Eight deaths, 442 new COVID-19 cases in Palestine

Palestine has recorded eight deaths and 442 new COVID-19 cases over the past 24 hours, announced the Palestinian Minister of Health, Mai al-Kileh, on Thursday.

The eight deaths were reported in West Bank.

The recovery rate stands at 87.4%, while the active cases rate is 11.8%, and the death rate is 0.8%.

The new coronavirus cases included: 75 in Hebron, 49 in Nablus, 58 in Bethlehem, 28 in Jenin, 41 in Ramallah and al-Bireh, 22 in Qalqilya, five in Salfit, six in Tubas, 20 in Jericho and al-Aghwar, 47 in Tulkarm, 81 in Gaza Strip and 11 in the suburbs of Jerusalem.

A total of 281 recovery cases involved: 63 in Hebron, 32 in Jenin, 46 in Tulkarem, eight in Qalqilya, two in Salfit, 16 in Nablus, 30 in Ramallah and al-Bireh, four in Tubas 80 in Gaza Strip.

Currently, 36 cases are in the Intensive Care Unit and six are on ventilators.
