Five people have died from COVID-19 in Jordan on Thursday morning, a medical source told Roya.

Four of the deaths were reported at Prince Hamza Hospital and one at al-Bashir Hospital.

In addition, the new deaths involve people who had suffered from chronic diseases and a man in his thirties.

However, the source added that the man in his thirties refused medical assistance.

The number of coronavirus deaths in Jordan now totals 262.
