32 deaths, 2,423 new COVID-19 cases in Jordan, 2,411 local cases

Jordan has recorded 32 deaths and 2,423 new coronavirus cases on Wednesday, 2,411 of which are local cases, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 30,550.

The number of COVID-19 deaths in Jordan now totals 257.

The cases are: 

  • 1,319 in Amman.
  • 293 in Irbid, 209 of which in Ramtha.
  • 42 in Jerash.
  • 22 in Aqaba.
  • 19 in Madaba.
  • 11 in Ajloun.
  • 538 in Zarqa.
  • 93 in Balqa'.
  • 31 in Mafraq.
  • 20 in Karak.
  • 17 in Ma'an, two of which in Petra.
  • Six in Tafilah.
  • 11 cases among people coming from abroad.
  • One case involving a Jordanian truck driver coming in through Al-Omari border crossing.
A total of 105 recovery cases have been recorded in the Kingdom on Wednesday.
 
A total of 25,295 PCR tests have been conducted on Wednesday, bringing the total number of tests since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 1,490,236.
