Jordan has recorded 18 deaths and 2,054 new coronavirus cases on Tuesday, 2,047 of which are local cases, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 28,127.

The number of COVID-19 deaths in Jordan now totals 225.

The cases are:

• 1,357 in Amman
• 122 in Irbid, 17 of which in Ramtha
• 67 in Karak
• 28 in Jerash
• 30 in Mafraq
• 11 in Tafilah
• 210 in Zarqa
• 90 in Ajloun
• 59 in Balqa
• 40 in Madaba
• 25 in Ma'an, five of which in Petra
• Eight in Aqaba
• Seven people who have travelled from abroad

A total of 142 recovery cases have been confirmed in Jordan.

A total of 25,736 PCR tests have been conducted on Tuesday, bringing the total number to 1,464,941.
