Three schools shut down in Ramtha following COVID-19 cases

Two schools have been shut down starting Wednesday until Sunday in Ramtha after coronavirus cases were recorded among the students, announced Ramtha's Director of Education, Mazen Momani, on Tuesday.

The two schools are Umm Kulthum Elementary School and Mecca Elementary School, Momani added.

In addition, another school, Al Khansaa Secondary School, has been shut down starting today, Tuesday until Thursday, after a teacher tested positive for the virus, Momani said.
