Twelve people have died from COVID-19 in Jordan on Tuesday, a medical source told Roya.

The total number of coronavirus deaths in Jordan since the beginning of the crisis reached 219.

The new deaths involve elderly people who had suffered from chronic diseases and a man in his forties.

Jordan has recorded 1,147 new coronavirus cases on Monday, 1,142 of which are local cases.
