Al-Bashir hospitals will start receiving coronavirus patients in the new emergency hospital on October 8, said the director of Al-Bashir Hospitals, Mahmoud Zureikat, on Tuesday.

The new hospital has been equipped with the necessary staff and equipment to receive coronavirus patients temporarily, until the coronavirus crisis is under control.

Al-Bashir’s management aims to cater to coronavirus patients' needs, especially after the recent developments of the coronavirus crisis in Jordan, Zureikat added.

This procedure goes along with the Ministry of Health's plans and based on orders from the the Minister of Health, Saad Jaber.
