Administrative governors will be responsible for supervising isolated areas, imposing partial and total lockdowns in these areas, and ensuring citizens' basic needs are met based on approved mechanisms, said the Minister of Interior, Salama Hammad, on Monday.

Administrative governors are responsible for issuing permits to people whose work nature requires moving around, humanitarian cases and emergency cases, he added.
